Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomy Trainee in Anchorage, Alaska. The role combines part-time Patient Service Center work as a Patient Intake Representative with part-time paid phlebotomy training, with the goal of obtaining a Washington State phlebotomy license and eventual promotion to a phlebotomy position. Responsibilities include patient scheduling, registration, data entry, insurance verification, payment collection, specimen preparation, and physician-order confirmation. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while medical terminology, customer service, communication, computer, typing, and data-entry skills are preferred or expected.
