Description
Mayo Clinic is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist – Vascular Access Tech to obtain blood samples using capillary, venous, assisted-line, and arterial methods; identify patients; label, handle, transport, and test specimens with point-of-care equipment; and interact with patients and healthcare professionals. The role alternates between Rochester Methodist Campus and St. Mary’s Campus and covers general patient care, pediatrics, emergency departments, intensive care units, and operating rooms. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training with clinical rotation or three months of phlebotomy experience, and must obtain National Phlebotomy certification within 14 months of hire. Compensation is $21.55–$30.22 per hour, with full-time eligibility and benefits.
