Nevada Gold Mines is hiring an Environmental Specialist for its Environmental Team at the Phoenix Mine. The role maintains and improves the site’s ISO 14001 environmental management system, supports audits and compliance activities, manages environmental documents and GIS databases, assists with environmental permitting and monitoring, and provides Cority system support. The position requires experience with compliance systems, ISO 14001, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Excel, along with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and project-management skills; a bachelor’s degree and mining or environmental-compliance experience are preferred.
