Description
The Photonics Experimental & Fabrication Engineer will design and improve experiments involving lasers, photodetectors, active photonic integrated circuits, biasing, and nonlinear optical effects; run automated wafer- and lot-scale measurements; analyse large datasets; quantify noise, drift, and nonlinearities; and write Python for data processing, automation, experiment control, and model validation. The role requires hands-on photonic-systems experience, analytical fabrication or process-development experience, Python coding ability, statistical analysis skills, electronics and lab-instrumentation comfort, and collaboration with photonics design, process, electronics, FPGA, and systems engineers. Benefits include share options, pension, and private medical insurance.
