Description
Apple is hiring a PHY Cellular Firmware Engineering Intern to develop PHY firmware features for 4G-LTE and 5G-NR. The intern will define features and requirements, explore concepts and algorithms, develop and simulate models to validate functionality and performance, and contribute to power- and area-efficient implementations. The role requires current enrollment in an M.S. or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field, at least six months of availability, signal processing and communication theory knowledge, engineering mathematics, C/C++ or Python experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with embedded cellular firmware and 4G-LTE or 5G-NR standards is preferred.
