Description
Apple is hiring a Physical Design Engineer in Austin, Texas to close physical design, EMIR, physical verification, and timing closure for a partition or SOC design. The role collaborates with partition and SOC contacts, uses Innovus, voltus, and Primetime, analyzes power, area, timing, and DRC, and develops methodologies to improve performance and design closure. The position requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field, three years of experience in the offered or related occupation, and experience with Tcl, Perl, or Python scripting, physical design tools, QoR optimization, timing and noise analysis, and ECO generation.
