Physical Design Engineer - Block Level, Subsystem Implementation at Etched

Etched is hiring a Physical Design Engineer to own block-level and subsystem physical design from synthesis through GDSII sign-off for AI hardware. The role includes floorplanning, synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure, sign-off analysis, hierarchical integration, PPA optimization, and collaboration with RTL designers. The position requires 5–10+ years of physical design experience, advanced-node back-end design, RTL-to-GDSII flow expertise, sign-off tool experience, and scripting ability.
