Description
Apple is hiring a Physical Design Machine Learning Engineer to apply machine learning and advanced algorithms across the physical design flow for application processors. The role involves building predictive models, optimization algorithms, and autonomous agents that integrate into production place-and-route flows and EDA tooling to improve power, performance, and area. Responsibilities include developing models and tools for RTL, logic synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, timing, noise, power, thermal, voltage drop, and design-for-manufacturing/yield, while collaborating with design, power, post-silicon, CAD, software, and machine learning teams.
