Physical Design Engineering, VP at Astera Labs

Astera Labs is hiring a VP of Physical Design to lead end-to-end physical design for complex multi-die switching products using UCIe and UALink technologies. The role will establish physical design methodologies, manage and mentor a growing team of physical design engineers, and collaborate with architecture, digital design, packaging, silicon engineering, and DFT teams to deliver high-performance tapeouts. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, at least 15 years of physical design experience, a record of leading teams and delivering advanced-node tapeouts, and expertise in chiplet architectures, interposer design, advanced packaging, timing closure, and signoff. The salary range is $250,600 to $375,000, with possible discretionary bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
