East Harlem Scholars Academies is hiring a temporary/leave-replacement Physical Education Teacher for PreK–7th grade. The role is student-facing for most of the day, with an 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule plus out-of-school responsibilities, and includes curriculum development, instruction, student progress tracking, classroom culture, reflection, and class advising. Candidates need elementary-level or higher physical education expertise, a bachelor’s degree or higher, appropriate New York State certification, and at least two years of relevant educational experience. Compensation ranges from $66,000 to $144,000 for bachelor’s-degree holders and $75,000 to $150,000 for master’s-degree holders, with benefits also offered.
