Mesa Associates, Inc. is hiring a Physical Engineering Associate I for its Power Delivery Substation engineering design team in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves preparing substation physical design deliverables such as arrangement plans, equipment layouts, conduit and cabling, grounding, lighting, calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings; coordinating with other disciplines; and supporting project execution and construction issues. Candidates need an ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 1–2 years of progressively responsible experience in 34.5kV to 500kV substation physical design, with EIT preferred. The position is hybrid, with the team in the office twice per week, and offers an annual salary range of $73,920.82 to $92,557.52 plus medical, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
