Mesa Associates, Inc. is hiring a Physical Engineering Associate II for its Power Delivery Substation engineering design team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role involves preparing substation physical design deliverables such as arrangement plans, equipment layouts, conduit and cabling, grounding, and lighting; coordinating calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings; collaborating with other disciplines; and supporting project quality, schedule, budget, and construction issue resolution. Candidates need a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, 2–3 years of progressively responsible experience in 69kV to 500kV substation physical design, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; EIT is preferred.
