Description
The Substation Engineering Manager oversees project resources, design execution, quality, safety, and staff development for the Power Delivery Substation group. The role coordinates with project and engineering managers, supervises engineers, designers, and drafters, reviews deliverables, approves timekeeping and expenses, and promotes efficient workflows. It requires at least four years of substation or utility industry experience, including two years in substation physical design, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and PE certification; FE certification is desirable. The position is based in Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Lakewood and requires reporting to the office twice weekly. The annual salary range is $88,590 to $100,800, with medical and dental insurance and other benefits.
