Description
The Physical Therapist performs comprehensive patient evaluations, develops and implements individualized treatment programs, monitors progress, communicates with referring physicians, documents care, and supervises physical therapy assistants. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, an Illinois physical therapy license, and CPR certification under American Heart Association guidelines within 30 days of hire. Duties include therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, cryotherapy, traction, massage, orthotic fitting, assistive-device instruction, medical documentation, charge-ticket validation, safety and incident reporting, and compliance with OSHA and Springfield Clinic policies.
