Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant performs exercise and treatment programs, patient testing, evaluations, and complex procedures under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The role coordinates with interdisciplinary team members, maintains patient records, follows infection-control and safety standards, and provides education to medical and nursing personnel. It is a part-time position with 48 hours biweekly, rotating hospital weekends, and requires an associate degree, less than one year of relevant experience, licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and Basic Life Support upon hire.
