Description
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with disabilities, injuries, or diseases through prescribed physical, chemical, and mechanical interventions; provides direct patient care, conducts evaluations, develops and modifies treatment programs, monitors patient tolerance and status, follows emergency procedures, maintains medical documentation, participates in quality improvement activities, and collaborates with families and interdisciplinary staff. The role requires a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent education and experience, New York State licensure or an applicable limited permit, and 0–3 years of relevant experience.
