Description
The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, administers therapeutic interventions, reassesses progress, and documents evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and billing information. The role educates patients and families, operates therapy equipment, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and follows safety, infection control, risk management, ethical, and legal standards. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy, a state Physical Therapist license, and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire are required; 0–2 years of physical therapy experience is required.
