CareOne at New Bedford is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide and direct rehabilitation care for residents in long-term care, short-term rehab, and skilled nursing settings. The role includes evaluating resident needs, developing treatment plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary staff, documenting care, maintaining billing records, participating in training, and potentially traveling to other facilities. A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of operations are required; experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation and governmental and regulatory healthcare guidelines is preferred.
