The Physical Therapy Assistant 1 - PPV supports a Physical Therapist in post-acute care by administering treatment programs, teaching activities of daily living, training patients in prosthetic and adaptive equipment use, documenting services, and reporting client responses and changes in condition. The role requires graduation from an approved school, current Texas licensure, and at least one year of experience under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. It is scheduled for one weekly hour and offers a starting base pay range of $58,400 to $80,000 per year for full-time employment.
