Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to incarcerated individuals in a correctional healthcare setting. The role includes administering therapeutic exercises and gait training, monitoring patient progress, documenting care, educating patients, coordinating with correctional healthcare staff, and maintaining security and infection-control standards. Full-time and PRN opportunities are available, with a high school diploma or GED, accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program completion, Texas licensure, BLS, and ACLS required; one year of hospital or correctional healthcare PTA experience is preferred.
