Description
The Physical Therapy Technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist in a Rainbow City, Alabama clinic. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and treatment areas, assisting patients with prescribed therapy exercises, documenting responses, applying ice packs and heat pads, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, changing linens, and assisting with patient intake, phone calls, and scheduling. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, organizational ability, multitasking skills, and computer proficiency.
