Description
The Physician Advisor leads enterprise physician guidance across utilization management, medical necessity, clinical documentation integrity, denial prevention, and physician advisement. The role advises physicians and care teams on complex clinical, regulatory, and payer questions; standardizes advisory workflows; analyzes denial and utilization trends; supports Epic workflows and reporting; and contributes to governance and strategic planning. It requires an MD or DO with current licensure, five years of healthcare experience, and two years in healthcare administration, project work, physician advisor work, or CDI work. The position is a regular employee role on the day shift in the United States of America.
