Description
The Alaska Psychiatric Institute is recruiting a Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide primary medical care to inpatient psychiatric clients in its Medical Office. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnostic testing, diagnosis of medical comorbidities and substance-use or organic conditions, initiating and managing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and recommending preventative care after discharge. The position is located in the U-MED district of east Anchorage and offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, training, and leave.
