Description
The Physician Assistant will serve as a fully qualified accessions Physician Assistant at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), performing applicant physical examinations, medical histories, medical procedures, documentation, post-processing inspections, and other general-medicine health-care duties for Department of Defense and other federal applicants. The role requires ARC-PA or predecessor-accredited education, NCCPA certification and recertification, an unrestricted state Physician Assistant license, at least one year of relevant certified Physician Assistant experience, current Basic Life Support certification, and completion of applicable MHS GENESIS training. The position may require Saturday work, early- or late-shift work, and up to 25% temporary duty travel.
