Description
Trillium Health Partners is hiring two permanent full-time Physician Assistants specializing in General Surgery, with one position at the Mississauga Site and one at the Credit Valley Site. Reporting to surgery leadership and working under supervising general surgeons, the PAs will assess emergency-room patients, conduct hospital rounds and postoperative evaluations, support discharge planning and referrals, perform follow-up care and prescription refills, assist with surgeries and approved minor procedures, and prescribe or order delegated non-narcotic medications after competency assessment. The roles work Monday to Friday in eight-hour shifts, with possible future weekend rotation, and require graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada.
