Description
The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner provides acute and chronic patient care, including histories, physical examinations, medication administration, wound suturing, triage, emergency response, documentation, patient education, and continuity of care. The role requires a physician assistant or nurse practitioner qualification, a North Carolina license, CPR certification, and either one year of physician assistant experience or three years of professional nursing experience plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. The work is performed in medical office and exam room settings.
