Description
The Advanced Practice Provider provides comprehensive outpatient family medicine care, including patient histories and physical examinations, laboratory and diagnostic testing, therapeutic and corrective procedures, referrals, preventative counseling, and medication prescribing. The provider exercises clinical judgment within their area of competence while a supervising physician team retains ultimate responsibility for patient care. The role requires graduation from an approved or accredited program, at least one year of clinical experience, a valid Indiana practice license, a Controlled Substances Registration license, and Basic Life Support certification; a master's degree and three years of medical office experience are preferred.
