Description
The Advanced Independent Practice role provides scheduled gastrointestinal patient services under physician supervision in hospital and clinic settings. Responsibilities include completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering laboratory tests, counseling patients and families, participating in continuing education and credentialing requirements, and working flexible schedules. The role requires a state-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with gastrointestinal experience preferred, and offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, a yearly salary increase, and a monthly phone stipend.
