Description
The Physician Assistant performs patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation; conducts histories and physical examinations; prepares and documents care plans; performs rounds; writes medication, laboratory, and diagnostic orders; interprets results; coordinates with physicians and other care providers; and manages discharge summaries, prescriptions, referrals, and post-discharge instructions. The role requires a bachelor's degree, graduation from an accredited ARC-PA program, a New York State Physician Assistant license, NCCPA certification, and BLS certification.
