Description
The Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas is hiring a full-time physician to provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, medical records, referrals, health counseling, and other clinical services to detainee patients, staff, and visitors. The role reports administratively to the health services administrator and clinically to the MTC Corporate Medical Director, includes on-call rotation, and requires an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine, a Texas medical license, DEA and BLS certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license. The position pays $350,000 annually plus potential $25,000 relocation assistance and includes medical, vision, dental, prescription drug, retirement, disability, and paid time-off benefits.
