Description
The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive care, well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, acute and chronic illness management, newborn admissions and nursery care, and coordination with specialists and community agencies. The role also includes faculty education and mentorship of Family Medicine residents, supervision of residents, participation in quality and accreditation initiatives, and coverage of shifts, standby, and on-call assignments with possible local travel between system locations.
