Open Rank Physician Scientist for MPS at UNC-Chapel Hill

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Physician Scientist for the Muenzer MPS Center in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics and Metabolism. The role is fixed-term and variable track or tenure/tenure track, with 80% translational research and 20% clinical genetics. Responsibilities include leading MPS clinical research studies, assisting in patient management and diagnosis, and participating in clinical genetic activities. Applicants must be MDs board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics/Biochemical Genetics, with strong teaching, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills; longitudinal research and MPS patient experience are preferred.
