Description
The employer is seeking a Physicist or Electrical Engineer to assess the feasibility of a novel technology through experimental and theoretical research. The role involves defining research strategies, designing and operating test setups, characterizing system and material performance, analyzing data, developing simulation models, and partnering with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field, at least five years of hands-on experience in a leading physics role, and extensive experience with nonlinear optical systems, short-pulse lasers, plasma and atomic physics, ultrafast laser optics, detection methods, and laboratory instrumentation.
