Shift Energy is hiring a full-time Physicist/Engineer in Saint John to design and develop central plant technology, including HVAC and energy-storage models, mathematical optimization, predictive-control software, LLM-based diagnostics, lab experiments, customer deployments, and production-system analysis. The role requires an M.Sc. in Physics or Mechanical Engineering, strong knowledge of hydraulic analysis, thermodynamics, and system modelling, Python proficiency, and preferably control-systems experience.
