Applied Materials is hiring a full-time OPC/Resist Modeling/SMO Engineer in its advanced lithography group in Santa Clara, California. The role leads and executes complex engineering and research-and-development projects, owns OPC knowledge, resist modeling, sampling plans, data cleaning, and SMO/RET downselection, maintains OPC infrastructure, troubleshoots complex problems, and mentors less experienced physicists or scientists. The position requires an MS or Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, 10–15 years of experience, and at least five years of hands-on OPC, resist modeling, and SMO experience in semiconductors. The salary range is $161,000–$221,000, with 20% travel and relocation eligibility.
