Description
Thea Energy is seeking motivated physics interns to work with senior physicists on stellarator research projects covering stellarator optimization, plasma confinement, divertor and edge physics, plasma-material interactions, and fusion neutronics. Interns will conduct literature reviews, run simulations or analyze data, collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, translate physics results into engineering specifications, track research goals, and present findings. Candidates may be pursuing undergraduate, master's, or PhD degrees, with experience in plasma modeling, stellarator optimization, diagnostics, or related areas preferred. Compensation is $18–$25 per hour for undergraduate interns and $26–$30 per hour for post-graduate interns.
