IMS Nanofabrication is hiring a Physics Modeling Development Engineer to develop and improve physics-based models, calibration algorithms, and correction strategies for multi-beam mask writer systems. The role involves analyzing machine and experimental data, debugging system performance issues, refining numerical methods, automating workflows in Python, validating models, and supporting complex technical investigations. Candidates need a relevant master’s degree or PhD, approximately 2–3 years of professional experience, strong Python and scientific-computing skills, and experience developing and validating models against real-world data. The position offers an annual gross salary of €65,000 plus bonus and KV Metallgewerbe.
