Description
The C-5 Aircraft Instructor Pilot provides aircraft, classroom, simulator, and practical instruction, including pilot procedures, Visual Threat Recognition Avoidance Training, Crew Resource Management, and Instrument Refresher Course training. The role also develops and reviews curriculum, conducts student evaluation and remediation, performs administrative duties, and maintains proficiency in aircraft and training devices. Candidates must be previously qualified as a C-5 AMP/C-5M aircraft commander with 1,000 hours of C-5 flight experience and formal instructor-course graduation, or a prior C-5 instructor pilot with 200 hours of instructor experience; U.S. citizenship, Secret clearance, and a Second-Class FAA medical certificate are also required.
