Description
The role manages pilot-piece sewing operations during product development, coordinating seamstresses, setting production pace, monitoring schedules and quality, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, identifying construction issues, and communicating problems to pattern makers, designers, and the development team. It also trains seamstresses, oversees team performance, and ensures pilot pieces meet product-defined characteristics before fitting tests, model approval, and release.
