Thornapple Excavating is hiring a full-time Excavator for its commercial pipe crews in the Greater Grand Rapids area. The role involves operating an excavator safely and efficiently, reading blueprints, communicating with supervisors and crew, performing equipment maintenance, and working up to 12 hours per day in seasonal conditions. Candidates need at least two years of pipe-crew and heavy-equipment experience, a driver's license, and knowledge of grades and commercial earthwork.
