Description
The Underground Utility Installer will install underground watermain, stormwater, and sanitary sewer utilities by reading blueprints, setting pipe lasers, coordinating equipment operators, and performing hand digging, backfilling, compaction, and leveling. The role requires at least five years of underground utility installation experience, knowledge of grades and lasers, the ability to lift up to 60+ pounds, and willingness to work up to 12 hours per day in seasonal weather. It is a full-time day-shift position with overtime opportunity, Monday through Friday, within a 50-mile radius of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, bonuses, and other employee benefits.
