Description
The Welder performs welding of pipe, flanges, and fittings for fabrication, repair, and maintenance of machine parts, plant equipment, and structures at Worley’s Anchorage Fabrication Facility. The role involves piping-system construction, pipe routing, welding-code-compliant repair and re-welding, blueprint interpretation, equipment maintenance, and industrial housekeeping. It requires 3–5 years of pipe-welding experience in a petrochemical industrial environment, successful FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW pipe-weld tests, and a high school diploma or equivalent; petrochemical, oilfield, and arctic experience is preferred.
