Description
The Pipefitter plans, lays out, and performs pipe fitting and fabrication work according to plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes inspecting subordinate work, maintaining quality and safety, communicating with crew members, and supporting other crafts as needed. It requires proficiency in trade mathematics, the ability to read drawings and specifications, effective communication, and at least three years of industrial or commercial construction experience depending on the level, plus the ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions.
