Description
The Structural Metal Fabrication Helper assists an assigned crew by reading blueprints and specifications, laying out and positioning fabricated structural metal parts, setting up face blocks, jigs, and fixtures, marking reference points, and preparing braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, and bolt straps for welding or riveting. The role is entry level, with industrial construction or maintenance experience preferred, and requires physical work involving climbing, lifting, kneeling, and repetitive motions.
