The Pipefitter plans, lays out, and performs pipe welding and fabrication work while following plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes inspecting subordinate work, maintaining crew relationships, improving work methods, and sharing knowledge. It requires at least three years of industrial or commercial construction experience, proficiency with trade mathematics and technical drawings, successful weld testing, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions.
