Description
Marathon Petroleum Company LP is hiring a full-time Pipeline Controller in Findlay, Ohio to remotely monitor and control crude oil, refined products, and natural gas pipeline systems from the Operations Center. The role uses SCADA or a computer-based user interface, responds to alarms and abnormal operating conditions, coordinates with field operations and third-party control rooms, and follows startup, shutdown, flow-adjustment, and product-change procedures. It follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour day and night shifts, weekend work, and a requirement to live within 60 minutes of the assigned Operations Center. A bachelor's degree or a high school diploma/GED with five years of Marathon experience is required, along with basic PC skills and the ability to pass a color vision test.
