August Schell is hiring a full-time PKI Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Fort Meade, Maryland, supporting DoD enterprise PKI modernization with a DISA customer. The role develops and maintains PKI software in Red Hat Certificate System and Dogtag PKI, supports post-quantum cryptography migration, HSM integrations, certificate lifecycle automation, testing, CI/CD, and program communication. Candidates need at least five years of professional software engineering experience, Java or Rust programming experience, Linux and containerization knowledge, PKI and cryptography expertise, and DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
