Description
The City of Greeley is hiring a Planner I to review and process land-use and zoning requests, respond to citizen and applicant inquiries, interpret municipal codes and development regulations, conduct land-use site inspections, manage planning application files, negotiate solutions with applicants, prepare staff analyses and written conclusions, perform permitting and development-code compliance activities, and support planning-related projects. The role requires a planning-related bachelor's degree, one year of municipal or public-sector planning experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifications, AICP certification or the ability to obtain it within one year, and a valid driver's license. The position is benefits eligible and involves occasional local travel within the county.
