Description
Baltimore County is hiring a Planner II in the Community Planning Division to support community development, sustainable growth, and quality-of-life initiatives. The role involves stakeholder and community engagement, developing and implementing community plans, analyzing planning data with GIS and other software, and reviewing development, zoning, and land-use proposals. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in planning or a related field plus three years of professional planning, zoning, development, or land-use experience, or a master's degree in planning or a related field plus one year of experience. The position is a regular 35-hour-per-week schedule and requires a valid Maryland Class C driver's license.
