Description
The Planner/Scheduler translates daily manufacturing requirements into executable labor and work-cell schedules, balancing machine and cell capacity, component availability, and workforce skills. The role manages work orders, prioritizes production, assigns labor and cells, monitors ERP-based material shortages, maintains scheduling documentation, communicates daily schedules, and supports continuous improvement and safety programs. A high school diploma or equivalent, two years of manufacturing or warehouse planning and scheduling experience, ERP work-order management, production and material planning knowledge, and strong communication and problem-solving skills are required; APICS certification or training is preferred.
